 Our Mission

"...That God in all things may be glorified

through Jesus Christ..." - 1Peter 4:11

Our mission is that we would glorify God in our WORSHIP, in our daily WALK and in our bold WITNESS to make Christ known in our homes, communities and the world.

Our worship is not a preference or a particular style. Our worship is target to please God!  Our worship is centered on the teaching and preaching of the Word of God.  We hold tightly to the conviction that the Bible is the inspired infallible, inerrant Word of God and our guide in all our practices.  It is not about what pleases God's people or the world that matters.  When we gather and glorify God we experience true worship and leave with our hearts full and our hope only in Him.

In our walk we are guided by the Word of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit to live holy lives that glorify God.  Our responsibility is to train new converts to study and apply the Word of God to their daily lives.  We believe a walk that brings glory only to Him is a light to a world of darkness and allows us to show forth Christ as the believers in Antioch did as recorded in Acts 11:26.

Our witness: The church has many purposes, but our priority, as we learn from Jesus' teaching in Matthew 28:19 & 20, is to be outwardly focused to win the lost and to disciple His converts.  We must start individually in the communities where we live and then corporately through missions outreach of FBC.  Evangelism and Discipleship are priorities which bring glory to God through His Son and our Savior Jesus Christ.
